How to Find State-Wise Stock in Amazon FBA (2026)

Published 18 August 2026 · 8 min read

Searches for how to find state wise stock in amazon are about inventory location: how many sellable units sit in which FBA hub, what is in transit, and which regions shipped this month — not which customer state placed the order.

Buyer geography is the other guide: how to find state-wise sales in Amazon. Combined product page: Amazon state-wise sales & stock.

Amazon does not label stock by state

FBA inventory reports list fulfilment centre IDs. India sellers learn the mapping: BOM-area FCs for Maharashtra, BLR for Karnataka, DEL for Delhi NCR, AMD for Gujarat, and so on. Until you group those codes, “national 1,00,000 units” hides a South-empty / West-heavy catalogue.

Seller Central pathWhat it showsWhat it is not
Inventory → FBA inventoryUnits by SKU and often by FCNot a state ranking or map
Inventory reports / ledgerReceipts, shipments, adjustmentsNot buyer-state sales
Manage FBA shipmentsInbound to a destination FCNot ending stock by region

Manual method

  1. Export FBA inventory (include FC if the report offers it) for one marketplace at a time.
  2. Map each FC code to a region or state. Keep a lookup tab — codes change as Amazon opens hubs.
  3. Sum sellable vs unsellable. Do not treat reserved or inbound as local cover.
  4. If you need units shipped from that hub, you need a second report (or a warehouse ledger). Inventory on hand ≠ throughput.
In-transit trap
Stock moving between FCs is not available to the destination yet. If you add it into “Haryana stock” you will delay a restock and still miss Prime delivery from that region this week.

How to find it in ListingPilot

  1. Open Sales Command CenterFBA Warehouse.
  2. Select the month. Read KPIs: units shipped, returns, net units, ending stock (sellable subtotal), in transit, active FCs, SKUs.
  3. Toggle Region vs FC. Region rolls hubs (BOM, BLR, DEL…). FC lists every warehouse.
  4. Use the India warehouse map plus the table (units shipped, ending stock, in-transit, share %).

When the question is “will this ASIN stock out in 12 days?”, use Amazon inventory management for cover and reorder alerts. Warehouse view answers where the current pile sits.

How do I find state-wise stock in Amazon FBA?
Amazon stores FBA inventory by fulfilment centre, not by Indian state name. Open Inventory → FBA or Inventory reports in Seller Central and group by FC code. Map those FCs to states (for example BOM hubs in Maharashtra, BLR in Karnataka). ListingPilot’s FBA Warehouse tab does that roll-up with ending stock, sellable and in-transit.
Does Seller Central show FBA stock by Indian state?
Not as a state table. You get FC codes and sometimes city names. “State-wise stock” is a grouping sellers build: region (BOM, DEL, BLR) or FC list, then mentally map to Maharashtra, Delhi, Karnataka.
What is ending stock vs in-transit?
Ending stock is units sitting at FCs at month close (with a sellable subset). In-transit is inventory moving between fulfilment centres — counted separately so you do not treat rolling trucks as local cover.
Is warehouse units shipped the same as state-wise sales?
No. Units shipped from an FC is fulfilment volume. State-wise sales is buyer location. Use the State-wise tab for demand and FBA Warehouse for stock. Both are in Sales Command Center.
