Privacy Policy
Last updated: 3 May 2026 · https://listingpilot.in/privacy
This Privacy Policy explains how ListingPilot collects and uses personal information when you use our website and software services for Amazon sellers. Please read it carefully.
1. Who we are
ListingPilot (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the ListingPilot web application and related services available at listingpilot.in (the “Service”). The Service helps Amazon sellers analyse listings, sales, advertising and related marketplace metrics through dashboards and tools you access after signing in.
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, contact us at shashankhukla36@gmail.com.
2. Scope
This policy describes how we collect, use, store and share personal information when you visit our website, create an account, connect marketplace integrations, or otherwise use the Service.
By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
3. Information we collect
Account and identity: name, email address, password (stored using secure hashing—we do not store your password in plain text), organisation or brand name where provided, and similar registration details.
Billing and subscriptions: if you purchase a paid plan, payment-related identifiers and transaction metadata processed by our payment partners; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
Marketplace and business data: when you authorise integrations (for example Amazon Selling Partner APIs or advertising APIs), we process data returned by those APIs on your behalf—such as listings, inventory, orders and revenue summaries, advertising campaigns and performance metrics, and related identifiers needed to provide analytics and reporting inside ListingPilot.
Technical and usage data: IP address, browser type, device type, approximate region derived from IP, timestamps, pages or screens viewed, API usage logs, error diagnostics and security-related events. We use this to operate, secure and improve the Service.
Communications: messages you send us by email, WhatsApp or contact forms, including your email address and the content of your enquiry.
4. How we use your information
To provide, maintain and improve the Service—including syncing authorised marketplace data, displaying dashboards, alerts and insights you configure.
To authenticate you, manage permissions within your organisation’s workspace, and enforce subscription or trial limits.
To communicate about your account, security notices, service updates and support responses.
To detect, prevent and investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents and unlawful activity.
To comply with applicable law, enforce our terms, and defend legal claims.
With your consent where required—for example certain optional communications or features we may introduce.
5. Legal basis (India)
We process personal data for lawful purposes including: performance of our contract with you; compliance with legal obligations; your consent where applicable; and legitimate interests such as securing the platform, understanding aggregate usage, and improving features—balanced against your rights.
If you are in India, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and related rules may apply. We aim to follow principles of purpose limitation, data minimisation, and accountability in how we handle your data.
6. Sharing and recipients
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only as needed to run the Service:
Infrastructure and service providers: cloud hosting, email delivery, logging, monitoring, and customer support tools—bound by contracts that require appropriate security and use limited to our instructions.
Payment processors: to complete transactions you initiate.
Amazon and marketplace platforms: when you connect your seller account, data flows according to your authorisation and Amazon’s or the relevant marketplace’s terms and APIs. We act on your instructions to display and process that data inside ListingPilot.
Legal and safety: regulators, law enforcement, or others if we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the Service.
Business transfers: in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may transfer as part of the business, subject to this policy or a successor policy you are notified of.
7. International transfers
Our servers or subprocessors may be located outside India. Where we transfer personal data across borders, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual terms, vendor assurances, or other measures required by applicable law.
8. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above: for the life of your account, plus a reasonable period for backups, legal compliance, and dispute resolution. Marketplace-derived data may be retained according to your plan, sync settings, and technical requirements unless you request deletion or disconnect integrations, subject to law.
9. Security
We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege access for our team. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we encourage strong passwords and protecting your account credentials.
10. Your rights and choices
Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent where processing is consent-based; and port your data in a machine-readable form where required.
To exercise these rights, email us at the address above. We may need to verify your identity. You may also update some profile information inside the application where that feature is available.
If you have concerns you cannot resolve with us, you may contact the Data Protection Board of India or other competent authority as provided under applicable law from time to time.
11. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may limit certain features.
12. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
13. Third-party links
Our site may link to external websites (for example Amazon or payment pages). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies; we are not responsible for them.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may be communicated by email or an in-app notice where appropriate. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance unless applicable law requires explicit consent.
